CLIENT NAME: BBC Bitesize
Across the UK, BBC Bitesize is a free online study support for school kids. The aim is to help kids in Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 with exams and homework. Across the Key Stages, the content covers close to 70 subjects.
THE CHALLENGE: The project I worked on with Common Story, a media production company based in Leamington Spa in the West Midlands was about Geography in KS3. The aim was that the information be presented in short formats and most of the films ran to about 1-minute long, covering aspects of geography like 'Reading a Map', or 'Longitude and Latitude'. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/subjects/zrw76sg
THE SOLUTION:
MY ROLE: In all, over 13 films were produced. Working within the restraints outlined by the BBC in terms of branding/colour legibility, I was responsible for all the motion and visual graphics. I also touched on some of the editing where appropriate.
