ILLUSTRATION

I’ll often joke that I’m a professional at ‘colouring-in’ when people ask what I do. I’ve been drawing since I can remember. Even in little school I was in art competitions.
It’s something that has nearly always stuck with me. I had a phase in Uni when I was studying graphic design where I barely drew because I thought ‘this is not what design is about’. What a numpty… I think it’s the place where I express my artistic sensibilities. But I’m always trying to experiment with styles or content.
I can’t decide whether this has been a help or hinderance. As such, I’ve split my illustration projects into things I’ve considered ‘work’ and things I’d considered ‘play’.
